$50 REWARD

The undersigned committee hereby offer a reward of Fifty Dollars for the recovery of the body of

JOSEPH J. RHODES,

Who was lost with the Steamer R. G. Coburn, on Sunday Oct. 8th 1871, off Saginaw Bay.

The said Joseph J. Rhodes was about 52 years old, five feet ten inches high, of slender build, full beard, which was rather inclined to grab, full head of hair of light or greyish colour, yet of a dark hue, from the effects of being dyed; wore a suit of grey clothing, checked flannel shirt, with marino undershirt; had on the third finger of the left hand a large oval ring, on which was engraved "J. J. Rhodes."

The above reward of Fifty Dollars will be paid for the recovery of the body, together with the necessary expenses of transportation to Detroit.
