The first part of John's show featured a trip from Detroit to Montreal and return aboard SOUTH AMERICAN during 1967 , the Expo '67 season and the last in service for this much-loved steamer. After the intermission, John featured the ships of the Owen Sound Transportation Company Ltd., with particular emphasis on NOR GOMA in her days of cruising the "Turkey Trail" . The large number of regu lars, new members and guests in attendance received the programme very well and we extend to John MacKay our thanks for his much-appreciated efforts. We should like to draw particular attention to the theme slide night planned for January. Our theme nights always bring out the creative and imaginative best in our members who usually participate in great numbers. For this rea son, we have elected to reduce the number of slides per person to fifteen, as in this way, all present should be able to show their slides, and nobody will have to leave the meeting disappointed due to a lack of time available to participate. * * * * * * * A FF ILIA T E D W IT H THE M A R IN E M U S E U M OF UPPER C A N A D A ISSN 0318-014X
