Jensen and the ship's registry was transferred to Tvaik. Sab. Dorte Jensen of Riga Latvia. She was renamed KAUPO. The ship returned to Danish registry sometime in 1939/40 and after the fall of Denmark was taken over by the British Ministry of Shipping under the management of Hall Brothers of Newcastle. On 10 June 1940 she was one of three ships scuttled as blockships in the harbour area of Dieppe France. Her hull was cut down to the waterline in 1947.
