- Family biography of Henry Gildersleeve, Overton Smith Gildersleeve, Charles Fuller Gildersleeve, and Henry Herchmer Gildersleeve and their shipping interests. C.F. Gildersleeve was for a time the manager of the Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Company. H. H. Gildersleever was the manager of the Northern Navigation Company and later worked for Canada Steamship Lines. The manuscript was written by E. E. Horsey, who for a number of years was manager of the Gildersleeve controlled Lake Ontario and Bay of Quinte Steamboat Company.
