JUDGE HART, upbound in the Soulanges Canal at Coteau Landing with a load of pulpwood, was photographed by the late Rowley Murphy fro m the deck of the saltw ater freig h ter SONIA. It was September of 1938 when the cam e ra of J . H. Bascom caught JUDGE HART approaching the W estern Gap, inbound for Toronto. The late Jim Kidd took this view of JUDGE HART above Lock Seven in the Welland C anal; as she neared the end of h e r c a r e e r .
