This programme featured illustrations and histories of various tugs, from the world's first towing steamer, the CHARLOTTE DUNDAS of 1802, up to world's most modern salvage, icebreaking and harbour tugs. Those present enjoyed a most m e m orable evening and we thank Buck for this superbly researched and presented address. The An n u a l Dinner Meet i n g will be held on Saturday, May 8th, aboard the JADRAN, which is moored on the east side of the Yonge Street slip on the Toronto waterfront. (Parking is available in a lot alongside the s h i p . ) The bar will open at 6:00 p. m., with dinner served at 7:00 p. m. The speaker will be a friend of many T. M . H . Russ will speak about his experiences in operating this unique steamboat aboard which most of us have sailed the Muskoka Lakes. AFFILIATED WITH THE MARINE MUSEUM OF UPPER CANADA ISSN 0318-014X
