We encourage local members who were not in attendance to join us next year for the Annual Dinner Meeting, and to experience one of our most enjoyable Society events. We extend sincere thanks to all those members who have kept us supplied with marine news during our summer publishing hiatus. We very much appre ciate your efforts and hope that you will continue to think about writing us when anything of marine importance occurs in your area. Enclosed with this issue, you will find a membership renewal notice. Please continue your support of the Toronto Marine Historical Society and return the coupon, with your cheque, to our Chief Purser at your earliest opportunity. It is your support that keeps this Society in operation. * * * * * * * ISSN 0318-014X
