We hope that this will be our most interesting volume yet. We also hope that we may count on all of our regular correspondents to continue sending us items of marine news for inclusion in these pages, for without your help, "Scanner" could not continue. We remind all members that Membership Fees for the 1999-2000 season are now due and payable. Fees remain at $25. 00 per annum, and if you have not already sent it in, you may use the coupon inserted in the Mid-Summer is sue to accompany your cheque. Please do NOT send your payment to the Edi tor, but rather, as shown on the coupon, address it to our Chief Purser, William R. Wilson, 173 Glenrose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1K7. But not to worry if you can't find the coupon; just send Bill your cheque and he will be pleased to sign you up for the new T. M. H. S. membership year. This will be the last issue sent to those who do not renew their membership. * * * * * * * ISSN 0318-014X
