Very early in her "tinstack" years, the three-masted CRESCENT CITY is seen upbound in the Poe Lock. Her back broken, CRESCENT CITY lies close inshore near Lakewood, Minnesota, after the storm of November 27-29, 1905. The camera of the late Edwin Wilson caught CRESCENT CITY, as an auto carrier, downbound into the Davis Lock at the Soo during the 1930's.
