Photo courtesy Skip Gillham shows GUARDIAN CARRIER when she arrived on the lakes in 1977. The name on her bow reads "RDIAN CARRIER". An excellent Dyke Cobb photo caught ROBERT KOCH upbound in the Welland Canal in 1977. She still has her original foremast but the mizzen is gone. Another Cobb photo, dated July 1, 1982, shows the KOCH in the Welland. The old foremast is gone and the new company logo shows on her stack.
