Please see details below. This will be the last T. M. H. S. entertainment meeting until October. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S LOGBOOK The March meeting featured Gerry Ouderkirk's illustrated presentation on the various tugs and workboats built by Russel Bros. / Russel-Hipwell at Owen Sound. The large crowd in attendance enjoyed the programme and gained an appreciation for the immense number of vessels turned out by this small shipyard. We thank Gerry for the huge amount of work that went into the preparation of this show. Normally at this time of year, we would be telling you about the details of our next Silent Auction. At the moment, although we have some very choice items on hand, we do not have enough for an auction right now. But stay tuned, and we'll let you know when we are ready with the next auction. Meanwhile, however, if you have any items of marine interest that you would like to donate to the Society for the next auction, please let us know. The Annual Dinner Meeting will be held Saturday, May 10, in the Captain's Quarters aboard JADRAN, which is moored on the east side of Toronto's Yonge Street slip. Parking is available in two lots just east of the ship, and there is easy access via the T. T. C. (Bay bus or Harbourfront/Spadina streetcar south from Union Station to Queen's Quay). The cash bar will open at 6: 00 p. m., and the four-course dinner will be served at 7: 00. Speaker for the evening will be Jamie Hunter, Director/Curator of the Huro nia Museum, Midland, who will present "An Overview of James Playfair and ISSN 0318-014X
