We believe this photo shows barge AGAWA at the Soo. To the right can be seen MONKSHAVEN and the schooner barge JOHN J. BARLUM. AGAWA, now a steamer, is upbound into the Davis Lock at the Soo in a Young photo. REGULUS is behind her. The man in the straw boater at the centre of the open bridge may be Capt. Jordan. The ice-enshrouded wreck of AGAWA, her hatchcovers gone, lies on Advance Shoal after her Dec. 7, 1927, grounding.
