Ship of the Month - cont'd. These rare photos come to us courte­ sy of Capt. Gerry Ouderkirk. The top two views show the deck of CHARLES R. HUNTLEY as a sandsucker, the left photo looking forward and the right one facing aft. Note the amount of gear required for her to work as a sandsucker. The bottom photo is a stern view ta­ ken when the HUNTLEY was on drydock. The rudder is gone and the main shaft and propeller have been pulled. The starboard Harbormaster outboard unit is in place, albeit without its propeller, but the en­ tire portside outboard unit is mis­ sing.
