But here it is and we thank you all for waiting patiently. We hope that all of our members have enjoyed their summer of marine activities. Our Silent Auction this spring was a great success and we thank all who participated. However, thinking ahead to next year's auction, we need dona tions of marine items. Would you all please check your shelves and cup- boards and see if you can spare some interesting item for the auction? Membership Fees for the 2004-2005 Season Are Now Due and Payable. Fees are now $35.00 per annum (yes, we had to have an increase) and we sincerely hope that we may count on your continued support. Enclosed with this issue you'll find a renewal coupon. We would appreciate it if you could send it to our Chief Purser at the address shown on the coupon (and NOT, please, to the Editor), along with your cheque, at your earliest opportunity. Thanks. Know anybody who might like to become a T. M. H. S. member? If so, please show them "Scanner" and encourage them to join. We really need to expand our membership base, and we welcome anyone with a lake marine interest. Of course, gift memberships are also a great idea. * * * * * * * Executive Committee Jay N.
