It is long and relatively narrow, with no outside light sources, and images can be projected directly on the end wall, thus allowing larger images and avoi ding the use of a screen. There is no light interference with the enjoyment of the images. We thank those who brought slides to share with the other members. Did you remember to renew your membership for the 2005-2006 season? If you t receive this issue, then not to worry, as we received your payment. If you should happen to hear any of your friends mention that they have not re ceived the November issue, then maybe you could remind them gently that a cheque sent to our Chief Purser will remedy the problem. We still have a problem, however. New members seem hard to find. Young fans of lake shipping seem not to want to pay club memberships for "real" histo rical information, favouring instead to get it for free from questionable internet sources. I f you know anyone who would benefit from a T. M. H. S. mem bership, please put them in touch with us so that they may join our group. * * * * * * * ISSN 0318-Q14X
