Steam Propeller Ontario.--This afternoon the steam ship Ontario, which arrived at this port on Friday last, from New York, leaves again for that port. The Ontario, as we are informed, intends running regularly between this and New York, and Capt. KITTREDGE, who commands her, is confident of her ability to perform the voyage in such time as to give her character and station in our trade.

A visit to this vessel convinces us that she possesses the ability to carry a large amount of freight, and accommodate, conveniently, a much larger number of passengers than her outward appearance would indicate. We wish her success in her endeavors to acquire reputation and profit.
