Lake Propeller for Chagres

The Propeller Ontario which left the lakes in May having made one trip to Charleston S. C., returned to New York for new boilers and outfit and cleared on the 2d inst. for Chagres.-- The time is coming when lake built vessels will be numerous on the Oceans. There are several propellers on our inland waters which can beat the Ontario, yet she is said to be the fastest vessel of her class on the Atlantic.
