Propeller Ontario, Latham, at this port from Chagres, and San Juan, 24th ult. saw a brig ashore 4 or 5 miles S. of Barnegat Light; had probably got ashore the night previous; hashed sails set, and the after sails furled; she laid broadside on the beach, with her head to the Southward....
