The schooner Rockaway is being overhauled under the personal supervision of Thomas Notter. It belongs to Munroe & Brinen and was built at Oswego in 1867. The vessel will be almost rebuilt in some respects and fourteen men are at work upon her. Captain Notter is one of those who believe Muskegon should build ships.
