Canal Navigation

Description
Full Text

Canal Navigation. - We continue the list of arrivals and clearance at the Collector's office in this village. It may be seen that thirteen boats arrived on one day. Many unload here, while others are taken in tow by the Steam Boat up the Lake, with supplies for the country bordering on this and the Crooked Lakes, the Chemung and its branches, and for the northern parts of Pennsylvania. Eight boats were attached to the Seneca Chief when she went up on Monday.
