p>The Schooner Anawan. - Body Found. - The Schooner Anawan which we mentioned in Wednesday’s paper as having capsized, was towed into this port this mooring by the towboat Howard and the brig Champlain. The body of a boy named James Herrigan, aged about 14 years, who was employed as cook on board the Anawan, was found flowing in the water in the hold.

From the position of the body when found, it is supposed that he was lying in his berth when the accident occurred - probably asleep. Coroner Lewis held an inquest on the body, and a verdict of accidental drowning was returned by the jury. It is feared that when the vessel is freed from water, of which she is now full, more bodies will be found. She has been taken on to the Marine Railway, and a few hours will determine whether those fears are groundless or not.
