New Propeller. - The new propeller Dalhousie, of the Welland Railway line, arrived at this port yesterday afternoon, with 16,313 bushels of wheat for M. Merrick. The Dalhousie takes the place of the ill-fated Perseverance, the particulars of whose loss on the lake last fall, are fresh in the minds of all. The Dalhousie is a fine vessel. Her capacity under the hatches is 17,000 bushels and she has a high pressure engine, 26 inch bore, 32 stroke, and with 75 lbs. of steam makes 90 revolutions per minute. She is commanded by Capt. Maurice McGrath.
