The St. Lawrence Marine Railway of Ogdensburg
____

After the fire at the Marine Railway, by which the engine house and boiler room were much injured, a successful effort was made to organize a company to purchase the property and put the railway in good order for the purpose of building and repairing ships. The company has been organized with a capital stock of $25,000.

We understand that the incorporators include about all the boat interests in this city. The railway and engine will be put in a good state of repairs, so that the largest vessel floating the whole chain of lakes can be taken out of required. This movement has been made by clear-sighted, practical business men, and indicates a revival of the commercial prosperity of Ogdensburg.
