Will Improve Marine Railway
____

Extensive improvements are to be made at the plant of the St. Lawrence Marine Railway Company, as soon as labor conditions become such that it will be possible to obtain sufficient men to carry on the work.

The company has acquired a piece of land adjoining the yard on the east, and a new railroad siding is to be installed, to facilitate the handling of heavy timbers used in repair of vessels. Labor saving machinery is to be added to the present equipment and the dockage extended. These improvements have been projected for some time, but owing to war conditions the company has been delayed into putting them into effect.
