A.J. Patmore to Manage Ohio Plant

Arthur J. Patmore, former manager of the Ogdensburg shipyard, will leave Friday to assume the management of the Toledo plant of Lake Erie Shipbuilding Co. of Buffalo, it learned last night. Mr. Patmore is an experienced marine dry dock operator and was in charge of the local yards for 13 years.

Mr. Patmore, for whom is named the tanker “A.J. Patmore,” was also a former manger of the Cleveland yards of the American Shipbuilding Co.

D. Stuart Cordwell, who was associated with Mr. Patmore in the operation of the marine docks here, will leave to accept a clerical position with the company. Both men will move their families to Toledo in the near future.
