The Loss of the Schooner Lochiel. - We have obtained more particulars to the loss of the schr. Lochial, a notice of which appeared in our telegraph report yesterday P.M.

The Lochiel, Capt. Scot, sailed from Hamilton on the 16th inst., for this port, with 9,312 bushels of wheat, consigned to Irwin & Sloan. At about midnight Sunday, during the prevalence of the gale, she lost her canvas, and at 5 o'clock Monday morning sprung a leak which caused her to fill rapidly, and soon afterwards she went down, stern foremost, in about 500 feet of water some 20 miles N.E. of the Genesee.

The Captain and crew, seven in all, escaped in the yawl and reached the shore at about 9 o'clock yesterday morning. We could learn nothing relative to the insurance of the vessel. The cargo was undoubtedly insured by some Canadian Company.
