Real photo postcard of the the Mackinaw straits ferry, the Island Transportation Company's steamboat ALGOMAH and at least six freighters and a tug boat tied up because of a serious freeze up.
Notes
There is another photo taken on the same occasion which identifies this as an ice jamb on Lake Superior near Sault Sainte Marie on 19 April 1905.
