Sunken Boat Partially Righted After Long Battle in Water
_______

As a result of thismorninb's pumping operations on the sunken lightship Milwaukee, No. 95, at the Racine Boat Manufacturing company's west wharf, the ship was put on even keel. It was then permitted to settle back to the bottom, although it is now righted.

The after hold was pumped out, enabling the East Shore Dredging company, which is handling the job, to right the ship. The pumps will now be shifted to pump out the forward hold.
