The schooner Madonna is properly hauled out for repairs since her unfortunate pounding on the rocks of Detroit Island. Most all of the seams in the bottom have opened and will have to be calked and there were also four holes or places stove in. Capt. Christianson is exceeding grateful to all who helped him to get the vessel off and to Capt. Jordan and his crew of the tug Truscott, the members of the Plum Island L. S. station and the Capt. of the tug Welcome he thanks doubly for their unstinted labor in his behalf.

The Capt. of the Truscott loaded his tug down with rocks and chains in order to give more helft to it in pulling.

...Captain Peter Jordan was among ADVOCATE marine visitors on Wednesday while his tug, the Truscott lay at the canal awaiting fiar weather to return home. The Truscott, which has been fishing out of Detroit Harbor, will hereafter fish out of Mud Bay together with the tug Annie D Both tugs will fish with hooks for trout.
