Lake and Bay. The tug Goldsmith, owned by Reynolds & Co., of this city, was bought Saturday of last week by Breyman Bros., of Toledo. Consideration $6000. The Goldsmith had belonged to the local fleet for many years, and about three years ago received a thorough rebuild, being lengthened several feet, since which time she has been one of the fastest tugs in this vicinity. Capt. Wm. Marshall took the Goldsmith as far as Menominee, from which port she towed the dredge John Todd and dump scows, which also has been purchased by Breyman Bros., to Toledo. The party that bought the Goldsmith is the same on that purchased the tug Marinette, of Marinette, a few weeks ago.
