Winter Marine Notes The anchor ice which hemmed in the fishing tugs Annie D. and Truscott at Mud Bay came from Rock island passage from whence it was driven by the northerly winds. The ice field was about six or eight miles in extent and a good deal of it was heavy ice. The Annie D. succeeded in working her way through it.
