MAR/APR. 1974 Page 26 MEMBERSHIP NOTES The cover of the January/February issue was used to illustrate the first in a series of collector prints of Great Lakes ships, the steamer Tashmoo. This issue we are happy to repeat the process and show you the second in the series, the City of Detroit III, which is now available. The price is the same for this as the first...$35.00.° Prints may be ordered from the Institute by mail, or may be obtained over the counter at the museum. We would urge those in the immediate area to come to the museum to obtain their print, thus eliminating the danger of mailing damage, although in fairness to the Post Office we should add that of all the prints we mailed since the first announcement there hasn't been a single case of one getting damaged in transit. We pointed out the advantages of owning these prints in our last issue, so we won't belabor the point. They are selling well...don't be left out! On the subject of art, members in the area will be interested in an ex- hibit by fellow-member Karl Kuttruff. This show opens on March 1, and runs through May. It features the well known and appreciated acrylic profile drawings of ships for which Karl has become so well known. The exhibition is at the Michigan State Historical Museum, 505 Washington, Lansing.
