L974 Page 118 MEMBERSHIP NOTES On the covers of TELEScoPpE for january/February and March/April we used illustrations of the Tashmoo and City of Detroit III: from paintings by James Clary to announce that prints of each were available to members of the InstituTE through our sales counter. This issue we are happy to repeat the process, and take this means of introducing to you the third in the limited-edition series, "GREAT LAKES HISTORY IN ART". .just in time for you to consider as a Christmas item. We now have Print Number Three, steamer Put-in-Bay. Once more the price is $35.00 (in spite of cost increases and printing on heavier stock) and those who were fortunate enough to have obtained the first two prints may obtain the matched number of their set in this edition, provided we are notified by them to reserve it. Avoid the mail rush later by ordering now. MEETING NOTICES We hope you've made reservations for the Meet The Author dinner, but if you haven't, and it is not too late, the affair is to be September 13th. at the Harmonie Club in Detroit. The November meeting will be held on November 22, at 8:00 p.m. (to avoid Thanksgiving). Business meetings are to be held on October 25, and January 3, 1975 (to avoid Christmas and New Years).
