An air compressor of 50 ft. per minute ca- pacity is supplied for furnishing air for pneumatic tools and for blowing boiler tubes. The general construction of the hull is clearly shown in the illustrations as well as the method of handling coal, either to the ship's bunkers or to other vessels. Working all hatches it is estimated that coal can be transferred at the rat of 100 tons per hour. SUCTION GAS PRODUCER BOAT. A suction-gas producer boat has been put in service on the Rhine, ac- cording to the London Times. It ¥ 6544 ft. long, 21% ft. wide and draws nearly 5 ft. with 10 tons of fuel on board. The producers use lignite bri- quettes and are located forward.
