The Detroit & Windsor Ferry Co., 2 Wood- ward avenue, Detroit, will build two docks at Windsor, Ont., at an estimated cost of $500,000. David Rodgers has purchased the floating dry- dock and equipment of the Seattle Dry Dock Co., Seattle, and will use it as a marine repair plant. It is stated the plant will be expanded. The Jahncke Dry Dock & Ship Repair Co., New Orleans, is reported planning to spend $2,000,000 in new equipment and extensions to its plant, including the extension of a new 600-foot steel wharf which will give much needed additional steamer repair berths. The dock board of New Orleans recently granted the company permission to use the additional 600 feet on the river front. The Wisconsin Shipbuilding & Navigation Co., Milwaukee, has about completed all new con- struction and are said to be negotiating new contracts in steel and wood. The Grand Trunk railway steamship terminal at Portland, Me., will be enlarged and improved at an estimated cost of $500,000. The capital stock of the Richmond Screw An- chor Co., New York, recently was increased from $10,000 to $100,000. Capitalized at $350,000, the Jacksonville Coal & Dock Co., recently was incorporated in Dela- ware by T. L. Croteau, M. A. Bruce and S. E. Dill, Wilmington, Del.
