Vessels entering Detroit river should keep on the range joining the Detroit River and Bois Blanc lights until within 14 miles of Bois Blanc light, when steer N. by E.? E. The range between the two lights leads about 250 yards east of the 13-foot spot marked with ared buoy, bearing 8S. by W. 4 W., 3g miles from - Beis Blane light. | Compass Courses and Distances on the South Shore of Lake Erie. Buffalo to Long Point and Pelee Spit.--When at the north end of breakwater, steer W. by 8.275S., 632 miles, to a point 2 miles south of Long Point light, thence W. by S. 38., 134 miles, to a point 14 miles south of the Spit light. Buffalo to Erie.-- When at the north end of breakwater steer S. W. ? W., 763 miles, to a point 13 miles northeast from Presque Isle beacon-light. Buffalo to Fairport.-- When at the north end of breakwater, steer S. W. by W.3 W., 143 miles, toa point 24 miles north of Fair- port beacon-light.
