SCOTT'S NEW COAST PILOT -- CHANGES AND ADDITIONS CORRECTED TO THE OPENING OF NAVIGATION 1906 ST. LAWRENCE RIVER. Channel South of Brock Group--Buoys Discontinued.--The four red spar buoys and one black spar buoy which have heretofore marked the channel south of Brock group, St. Lawrence river, west of Morristown New York have been discontinued. Gananoque Narrows.--The barrel buoy moored in the River St. Law- rence, abreast of Gananoque Narrows lighthouse, has been replaced by a steel spar gas buoy, painted red, and moored in the same position. The light is a white light, automatically occulted at short intervals. Jackstraw Shoal--Change in Color of Light.--The light shown from Jackstraw shoal lighthouse has been changed from fixed white to fixed red. It should be visible 7 miles from all points of approach, I LAKE ONTARIO. Calf Island Spit.----This black second-class nun buoy has been changed to a second-class can. FORT NIAGARA LIGHT STATION.--A red, square, iron oil house with hip roof has been erected about 25 feet southerly from the light tower. OLCOTT LIGHT STATION.--A red, square, iron oil house with hip roof, has been erected on the west pier, about 50 feet southerly from the light tower. OSWEGO LIGHT STATION.--A red, square, iron oilhouse, with hip roof, has been erected on the pier, about 12 feet westerly from the watch- room adjoining the light tower. Burlington Bay.--On the opening of navigation, a light will be shown from a lighthouse tower erected by the Government of Canada on the inner end of the south pier of Burlington channel, replacing the lights heretofore shown from two lanterns on a mast at the same site.
