' Se O ae Portage River Range Lights, Nos. 9 and 10.--Located on the southerly side of Portage River at the mouth of Bayou and opposite Princess Point. Front Light, No. 9, has been moved about 450 feet to the westward of its former location and re-established, in the water, on the southerly side of Portage River, at the mouth of Bayou, and opposite Princess Point. Rear Light, No. 10, has been moved about 325 feet to the westward of its former location and re-established, in the marsh at the southerly 'side of the mouth of Bayou, and is now about 450 feet W. % S. in rear of the preceding. Portage Rtver Range Lights, Nos. 12 and 10.--Located on the westerly side of Portage River, at the mouth of Bayou, to the southward of the upper turn off Princess Point. The following changes were made in these lights: | - Front Light, No. 12, was moved about 650 feet southerly of its former location and re-established in the marsh to the southward. of the mouth of Bayou, at a point about 350 feet &. 36. The seven structures in the St.. Louis River, Nos. 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 to the northward and westward of Big Island were not rebuilt, their positions being marked by red spar buoys. : . , eo | : : Duluth--East Gate Basin.--A red and black horizontally striped 35-foot spar buoy in 20 feet of water marks the east bank of the channel in East Gate basin, about the middle of the turn from Rice point channel to Superior front channel.
