(5) PuNcH SHoP -- 262'-0" x 130'-0" (Mold Loft same size on 2nd floor). Plate planer -- 30'-0" long. Plate rolls -- 30'-0" long, 114" capacity. Mangle rolls -- 10'-0" long, 34" capacity. Cold press bending machine -- 12" channel, 70'-0" long. Gate Shear--12'-0" length x 1" capacity. Hydraulic Press, 20'-0" x 1" x 1000 tons. Punches, drilling machines, flame cutting ma- chines, etc. Steel stock, plates, and shapes, approximately 1000 tons, maintained at all times. Other shops and service buildings, well equipped and stocked, include Blacksmith, Anglesmith, Elec- tric, and Rigging, Paint, Joggle, Joiner, and Sheet Metal, six Warehouses of which the largest is 203'-0" x 13-0". Lorain is a complete shipyard, modern, and well equipped for three-shift operation. Electric power, AC and DC, is available for vessel power as required. With a background and experience of 60 years, this yard is capable of any type of ship construction.
