12 THE MARINE REVIEW February, 1919 Steel for Service This pamphlet in its new edition contains recommendations made by the American Steel Makers and adopted by the Emergency Fleet Corpo- ration as amended November 20, 1918, together with an illustrated com- mentary which covers the rolling mill procedure and steel works practice on - which the recommendations are based. It should be in the hands of all engaged in the building of steel ships. By careful observance of the regulations laid down to insure standardization of orders, and by the use of the selected list of sections contamed therein and recommended for ship construction, ship builders can very materially assist the steel makers in the manufacture and shipment of ship steel and likewise insure the speediest and most eco- nomical construction of vessels in their own yards. The pamphlet—Bulb Sections—also contains information on ship steel. Both can be had on application. Carnegie Steel Company 464 Frick Building Annex, Pittsburgh, Pa.
