A highly- qualified staff of inspectors and mechanics operates under the supervision of Mr. Louis R. Ford, one of the earliest exponents of the art and an international authority on the Diesel Engine; their experience covers every type of motor. But skill alone does not account for the speed, precision and economy of UNITED Diesel work. Experience and research have enabled the Diesel division to perfect a variety of special equipment which is of marked benefit in repair or conversion projects of any magni- tude. Within UNITED's own organization is every facility that could be required, all available twenty-four hours a day. ry \/ ry fF NS te OF Me Sk Staten Island ‘ 1 oe ay Fletcher, Morse Crane Plants MARINE REVIEw—November, 1931
