That Columbian Waterproofing is supe- rior to other methods is a proven fact. There are two main reasons:for such outstanding superiority. The first is the waterproofing preparation, developed in the Columbian laboratories by our staff of expert cordage chemists. The second is the manner of using this prep- aration. Columbian is not waterproofed by any dipping process. Rather — every single fibre which goes into Columbian Tape- Marked Rope is thoroughly waterproofed before being spun into yarn. Naturally then, the rope containing these fibres is 100 per cent waterproofed. Columbian is therefore sealed against the ac- tion of the elements and the germs of decay. Is there any wonder that this guaranteed Colum- _bian Rope is the most flexible rope even after immersion in water for an indefinite time. Send for a copy of our folder, the ‘’Flexibil- ity Test.’ It contains an experiment we would like all users of rope to try. COLUMBIAN ROPE COMPANY 332-90 Genesee Street Auburn, N.
