To-day, ships electrified by General Electric and its associated companies sail the seven seas. Their routes range the coast- line of North and South America and reach round the world. The world- wide extension of G-E turbine electric drive within five years is proof of the sound principles of marine design on which General Electric’s pioneer work has been based.
