With the active co- operation and participation of the United States Shipping Board Bureau of the Department of Commerce, a most interesting program will be presented with J. C. Peacock, Director, U. S. Shipping Board Bureau, presiding. Outstand- ing speakers will deliver addresses of the greatest importance to the American Marine Industry. This, the first gathering of its kind since January, 1933, is of particular significance at this time. The American Merchant Marine cannot stand still; it cannot retreat; it must go forward!
