Detroit, Sept. 16 1838

Mr. S Wendell

Dear Sir. We have just received Messrs John Orr & Co letter advising us of the the seizure of the twine which we sold therefore we herein enclose to you the Bill of Purchase of the twine in N. York which arrived the very morning that Mr. Orr left here & just in time for him to get it on Board

Please return the same to us after you have been satisfied that all is right. in haste your &c
