New vessels update Algoma, Canada Steamship Lines fleets The Great Lakes / St.Lawrence Seaway welcomed several new boats into two Canadian fleets last season. Algoma Central Corp.’s Algoma Equinox, the first of a series of vessels, arrived on her delivery trip from Chinese shipbuilders in early December 2013. Canada Steamship Lines’ Thunder Bay, Whitefish Bay and Baie Comeau also entered service as members of the new Trillium class in 2013, with more to follow. Baie St. Paul arrived late in 2012, making a total of four new hulls for CSL so far.
