Our fellow members, Mr.& Mrs. David Botsford, will be our hosts. The usual picnic will be held in the after- noon and early evening on the grounds, and the meeting will convene in the Museum Annex at 8 P.M. Bring your basket of sandwiches and fill the thermos too. Sugar and Cream will be provided, and there'll be extra coffee brewing in the venerable Botsford urn. © The speaker of the evening will be Mr.John Marsh, Editor of the Amherstburg "Echo" - a man well versed in the marine lore, old and new, of the lower river. Those of us who heard Mr.Marsh several years back will not want to miss this meeting, and will recommend the program to all. As usual, our friends and guests are always welcome. At this meeting we will also cast our ballots for the election of the four members of our Society's Advisory Board for the three year term, 1952-1955. Ballots are enclosed herewith. They should either be cast at the meeting, or mailed to your Secretary so as to reach him not later than Thursday, June 5th. At the Amherstburg meeting we will again be privileged to have as our guests the members of the Algonquin Club. Two years ago we began the custom of having the final meeting of both organizations a joint meeting. The two Societies are similar in interests and objectives and have a large overlap in membership. Also, while there is time, let us not forget that on Friday, May 30th, we will have an informal get together on the Str.COLUMBIA when she opens the season for the Bob Lo boats. The COLUMBIA sails at 10 A.M.
