This is the same location as was that of our mid year meetings last year. The time will be 8 P.M. Parking on the campus is best in the parking lots at the south end, around the Engineering Building, facing south on Florence Ave. Our members are asked not to park in the drive- ways. Our speaker at the October meeting will be Captain George Wilkins, commander of the Str.STE CLAIRE, and a member of our Society. Captain Wilkins will recall some of his experiences of his 53 years on the Great Lakes. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to converse with him and hear his stories, assure you you'll not want to miss this meeting. Come and invite your friends. Keep in mind, too, the third meeting, Wednesday evening, November 19th, at the same location, when our fellow member,Mr.D.J. Butterfield, will be the speaker. Robert A.Zeleznik, Secretary. Her average speed on trials. was about 17 w.p.h. Some weeks earlier her sister ship, ARTHUR M.ANDERSON, went into service, as did Bradley's new self-unloader JOHN G.MUNSON (ii). The tanker IMPERIAL LEDUC has returned to service after extensive re- pairs made at Toledo.
