The Hart Line was the largest fleet in this ser- vice and continued regular operation until about 1910, when it went out of business, and its ships sold to other owners. The FANNIE C. HART was sentes the Atlantic Coast not long afterward, and sailed for many years out of - New London, Connecticut as a sort of "mother ship" and supply tender for a fleet of oyster boats.
