Dimensions 170 x 57.5 over guards x 9.1. Retired from the Montreal - Longeuil service in 1930 upon completion of the Jacques. Cartier Bridge. Broken up at Sorel about 1935. HOCHELAGA Composite hull sidewheel ferry, built at Sorel in 1886. In (4) service as ferry on the Montreal - Boucherville route. Re- named BOUCHERVILLE in 1905. In 1930 C.S.L. traded this ves- sel to King Edward Park. Co for WHITE STAR. Broken up c.'32. ISLAND QUEEN Wooden hull screw steamer used as a ferry. Built 1887 at Kingston by Davis. 102 tons. Probably chartered by R.& 0. COLUMBIAN Steel hull screw steamer, built at Chester, Pa. in 1892. One stack amidships. Dimensions 175 x 33.5 x 9. Purchased by R.& O. in late Nineties and operated in the rapids ser- vice with BOHEMIAN. Rebuilt in 1901. Renamed BROCKVILLE in 1905. Rebuilt again in 1909, reboilered and lengthened to 194.4 x 33 x 8, now having two stacks in line, close together. Renamed at this time RAPIDS QUEEN. Sold to Sin Mac Lines in 927. In 1939 hull converted to oil barge for Canadian redging Co., and renamed CD-110. (Continued, top of p.3)
